What time is check-in and check-out?
Unless stated otherwise for your particular event:
Gates open:
Event day 1 @ 12h00 noon
Check-out:
Latest @ 15h00 on last day of the event
Are there card facilities and/or ATMs on site?
No ATM but we do accept credit card payments
Shuttle service?
Shuttles will be driving between POD 1 & 2 to get people to and back from where the magic is happening. Unfortunately, you will not be permitted to drive your own cars as cars will be parked at the parking are. Only designated crew, and transport shuttles may drive on POD grounds. Bring your bicycle or take a walk down the artist walk.
How far is POD from Cape Town?
About 3 hours and 30 minutes – 3hrs to main gate and 25 min drive from gate Pod 1 –main camp.
Please make sure you have a workable spare tyre, tyre iron and jack, the dirt roads accommodate city vehicles but there is limited/no cell reception.
Do not travel faster than 80km/h on dirt roads.
Are we allowed to bring our own alcohol?
You are most welcome to pack in your own cooler box with your choice of beverages for the weekend. We would prefer beverages in cans and/or plastic bottles, to minimise any glass breakage.
What happens in the event of an accident?
We ask that you please take care not to injure yourself. We will have medics on site. Please note that we are a 2-hour drive away from the closest hospital.
Is there power?
Yes, the there are plug points but the entire venue is running off the Grid. we recommend that you pack in a power bank supply with which to charge your phone as well as extra battery-powered lights.

What is the weather like at POD?
It is the Karoo, which is generally dry with semi -desert conditions. Expect extremes fluctuations in temperatures. October is generally very hot during the day but can also get very cold at night, pack your furs! Please check the weather for Windguru – Place of Dreams, which is the most accurate, before packing.
